Originally published in 2000 the book proved to be a hugely popular success, detailing the villages long and enduring relationship with Wentworth Woodhouse.

Wentworth Garden Centre, along with Roy Young have commissioned a revised and updated version which is currently on sale again at £12.99, 2 for £22.00.

As from Tuesday 26th April 2011, Wentworth Family Farm has been acquired by and brought under the ‘umbrella’ of Wentworth Garden Centre.

The farm will be renamed and major investment is planned to update this attraction and widen the interest.

Look out for a greater range of domestic and farm animals, British wildlife and exotics (Meerkats etc) together with new play equipment.

In addition various daily interactive workshops and handling sessions are planned for children and adults alike with our new team Samantha, Adam and Andrew who have wide experience of both zoo and domestic animals.

This process will take time and we ask for your patience whilst discussions with the relevant authorities take place.
